Greetings From Your Local Contractor Next Door!

Howdy! I'm Chuck. I'm 33 years old (almost). I'm a dad of 3 beautiful children and a husband of 13 years. (we started young!) I am also a building contractor. My Father's name is Mark. He's a carpenter, and a damn good one at that. He's been building houses with sticks in Florida since the early 80's, and has taught me everything that I know about construction. Well, that's not exactly true. I learned some from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, too.

Together we run Chuck's Home Services, LLC. We are based in West Volusia County, but we work all over the state of Florida. We are carpenters by trade, but we count ourselves as experts in all forms of structure building and repair.

I started this company because I love building. I've been a tinkerer since I was a little boy. I loved being outside, riding my bike and fixing it when it broke. I loved building tree forts in the woods. When I grew up (or got to be a bigger, fully grown kid at least!) I decided the best way to harness what I already loved to do was to learn the trade from my dad who is the best in the business and start serving my community.

We love the work that we do. So much so that we still do most of it ourselves. At Chuck's Home Services, LLC you won't find a well dressed, big truck driving owner who sells your job to you, cashes your check and never shows up to check on the progress of your addition or renovation again. We use sub-contractors as little as possible, and nearly every bit of work we do is done by us and our hourly crew of dedicated tradesman.

A personal, loving touch applied to each and every job is what we hold as being the source of our value. Whether consulting with customers about converting a window to a door, or re-siding their home we approach every project as if we were the ones actually doing it, because we are! By shouldering our own work load instead of essentially bidding work for other people to do on our behalf like some contractors do, we feel that we are providing a higher and more personal level of service to our customers.

Chuck's Home Services, LLC also believes that you, the customer, should always feel in control. We, as your contractor, are here to advise and serve you. We have a responsibility to make sure that your vision is realized in a way that is obviously structurally sound and that is within the bounds of acceptable building practices. But through communication and compromise, we promise to deliver a product you will love and that will stand the test of time.
